Dopo la cessazione dell’attività estrattiva, le miniere della Val Trompia sono diventate una risorsa per la scoperta “sotterranea” della montagna, lungo percorsi messi in sicurezza dagli stessi minatori.

After the end of the mining activity, the mines of the Trompia Valley became a resource for the “underground” discovery of the mountain, along paths made safe by the miners themselves.

Nach Ende ihrer Fördertätigkeit sind die Bergwerke im Val Trompia zu einer Ressource für die „unterirdische“ Entdeckung der Bergwelt auf von den Bergleuten selbst gesicherten Wegen geworden.

Oltre alle grandiose e antichissime miniere di ferro ci sono numerosi pregi artistici da ammirare presso Pezzaze e dintorni: la Torre medievale di Mondaro (XII secolo), la Chiesa di Eto (del ‘400 e con affreschi cinquecenteschi) e la Chiesa di Mondaro.

Besides the great and very ancient iron mines, there are numerous artistic qualities to admire nearby Pezzaze and surroundings: the Mediaeval Tower in Mondaro (XIIth century), The Church in Eto (dating back to the XVth century and with sixteenth-century frescos) and the Church in Mondaro.

Neben den großartigen und uralten Eisenbergwerken gibt es bei Pezzaze und in der Umgebung zahlreiche Kunstwerke zu bewundern: den mittelalterlichen Turm von Mondaro (12. Jh.), die Kirche von Eto (aus dem 15. Jh. mit Freskenmalereien aus dem 16. Jh.) und die Kirche von Mondaro.
