Between the Regional Park of the Adamello and the National Park of the Stelvio, the Oglio water comes out among deep valley furrows, so isolated to allow the development of endemical species. The Oglio rises from two separate springs at an altitude of 2,600 metres, on the southern and western slopes of the Three Lords' Horn, which represents the point of convergence of three catchment-basins: of the Adda, of the Noce and exactly of the Oglio, which goes down to the Camonica Valley. The torrents Narcanello and Frigidolfo flow into each other near Piece Wood Bridge to create the Oglio, which goes down flowing through the centres of Edolo, Breno and Boario Waters.
