Nella più ampia vallata dell’Oltrepò Pavese, paesini in pietra tra i crinali delimitano piccole valli movimentate da torrenti stagionali. Qui non è raro scoprire piccole grotte erose dalle acque.

In the widest valley in the Oltrepò Pavese, villages made of stones among the ridges delimit little valleys animated by seasonal torrents. Here, not rarely, it is possible to descover little caves eroded by the water.

Im weitesten Tal des Oltrepò Pavese begrenzen kleine Orte mit Steinbauten zwischen Gebirgskämmen die kleinen Täler, die von saisonalen Wildbächen belebt werden. Hier ist es nicht selten, dass man kleine vom Wasser ausgewaschene Grotten entdeckt.

Dalle pendici del Monte Lesima, la più alta vetta dell’Appennino Pavese, presso la località di Prodongo, parte una passeggiata lungo i sentieri della via di Annibale. La leggenda racconta che su queste montagne transitò il condottiero di Cartagine con il suo esercito e i suoi elefanti diretti al Fiume Trebbia dove si scontrò con i romani nella storica battaglia.
Il percorso si snoda lungo la Valle Ardivestra dove ci si può soffermare per una visita alla splendida Pieve Romanica di San Zaccaria.

From the slopes of the Mountain Lesima, the highest peak in the Apennines of Pavia, nearby Prodongo, starts a walk along Hannibal's paths. The legend tells that on these mountains Hannibal passed with his army and his elephants towards the river Trebbia where he clashed with the Romans in the historical battle. The path winds along the Ardivestra valley where it is possible to stop for a while to visit the St. Zachary's beautiful Romanesque Church.

An den Hängen des Monte Lesima, dem höchsten Gipfel des Paveser Apennins, beginnt in der Nähe des Ortes Prodongo ein Spazierweg, der auf der Strecke Hannibals liegt. Es geht die Legende, dass der Feldherr aus Karthago auf dem Weg zum Fluss Trebbia, wo er in der historischen Schlacht auf die Römer stieß, mit seinem Heer und seinen Elefanten über diese Berge kam. Der Weg führt das Valle Ardivestra entlang, wo man für einen Besuch der herrlichen romanischen Pfarrei von San Zaccaria Halt machen kann.
